Yes, however, there is a $30 additional fee for all restricted drivers and the insurance excess is increased to $4,000, subject to any additional insurance covers purchased, as seen in the Insurance section of this website.
The only foreign licence we take is an Australian Full Drivers licence. This includes an additional fee of $30.00. All other foreign drivers licence customers will be required to provide an International Drivers Licence. Insurance excess is increased to $4,500, subject to any additional insurance covers purchased, as seen in the Insurance section of this website.
All our bookings require a $300 refundable bond. This is returned to you once the truck is returned.
Excess: The Excess is the amount that will be charged to your credit card in the event of any damage to the vehicle whilst on hire. The amount of the Excess is dependable on which Insurance Option you took and what vehicle you are driving.
Refund: A Refund is the amount credited to you if you cancel your booking within the required time. The refund can take up to 14 days to be credited to your account.
Bond: The Bond is the amount that will be taken from your credit card or debit card for the duration of your rental. This will be refunded to your account once the vehicle is returned. It can take from 5 to 14 days for the funds to be returned to you. This is also dependent on your banking provider.
Please advise us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your booking. We are always happy to reschedule your booking (subject to availability) if required. CANCELLATION POLICY: More than 7 days – 10% or $100.00 Deposit (whichever is greater) applicable Within 7 days of hire – 1 days hire Less than 24hours – 3 days hire No show – Full cost of hire applicable.
Upon picking up your rental vehicle, you will need to provide your driver's licence.
We have great flexibility to meet your schedule, we will do our best to get you a vehicle as soon as possible. We are closed on Christmas day.
Yes, we allow extensions if the truck is already in your possession, subject to any other bookings made by other customers. Please contact one of our staff members and you will be subject to providing payment for additional days, based on the daily rental rates
Yes, please refill the truck with Diesel to the full level that was provided when you first collected the vehicle. In the event you do not fill up the tank, you will be subject to a fine of $50.00 on top of the cost to fill up the tank.
Please contact one of the numbers provided on the contact page of this website to inform when the vehicle will be returned. In the event of a late return of a vehicle, you will be subject to a fine of $90.00 and subject to any additional loss of revenue from other bookings for the vehicle you are in possession of.
No, our cabins are smoke and vape free. Under no circumstances should there be smoking or vaping in the truck. You will be subject to a minimum $100.00 cleaning fee.
Do not drive our vehicles off the road or onto any New Zealand beaches. A minimum penalty of $2,000 may apply.
Yes, we provide quotes to suit your needs and will be happy to discuss with you potential long term discounted rates.
All our trucks are Class One trucks and can be driven by anyone with a Car Drivers Licence.

Breakdowns
As accidents are a stressful time please use the following as a guide:
- Try to stay calm and help anyone who is injured, dial 111 and request an ambulance if needed and inform the police as soon as possible.
- Give your name and address to the owner or driver of any car that’s been damaged and to the owner of any property that’s been damaged.
- If other drivers are involved, find out whether they’re insured and who they’re insured with.
